For a long time I imagined I would find somebody to give my tapes to. Then, about five years ago, during a move, I looked at my paltry box of about 100 tapes, then I looked at my 500 G hard drive full of Dick's Picks and archive material, and I put that box of tapes into the pile of stuff that was going to Goodwill. No idea what happened to them after that, and I pretty much never thought about them again. You really won't miss them.

Your probably right, I think it is the attachment of creating all the covers and all those hours at the post office and waiting to see what was coming back, hoping that someone was not screwing you (only happened once to me). I think though I took the 1st step and took them off display in my room of "me" and boxed them up, I think goodwill may be my next step unless I get a better offer!

Guys, I think you are all wrong, put your tapes in a safe deposit box and specify their disposition in your last will and testament!!

I am leaving mine to you.

My kids don't want them.

I thought I was leaving mine to you, so that means ring is going to have one hell of a useless collection of maxell 90 tapes! Hahahahaha!

I'm still mad about all the maxell points I had saved up. I went to send them in and found out they didn't offer them anymore. They did send me a free t-shirt and poster of the guy sitting on the couch though. My 2004 VW has a tape deck(with cd) in it, who still listens to tapes in 2004? I thought it was bad enough when the 1999 had one(with no cd).
